Far from the Known World…

A single Raccoon print,  perfectly placed in the sand along the pool, stood out to him.  No paths lead here, no brush bent back.  The moss on the rocks intact.  The Birds above would riot occasionally, but to him it was a blessed chatter, in effect identical to the floral cascade of  color all around. This was far from the known world.

This was the spot.
